बाबा सुन्दर सिंह शिक्षा समिति का उद्भव मेरे पिता सरदार अजीत सिंह व माता महेन्द्र कौर के आशीर्वाद व सहयोग से हुआ। सन् 1992 में मूक बधिर व मानसिक रूप से बच्चो की शिक्षा दीक्षा व समाज की मुख्य धारा से जोड़ने के लिए संस्था की नींव सरदार अजीत सिंह द्वारा रखी गयी। बहराइच जिले (तराई के पिछड़े क्षेत्र) में डा॰ बलमीत कौर ने आजीवन अविवाहित रहकर विशेष बच्चों की सेवा करने का संकल्प सन् 1992 में लिया, जो आज भी अनवरत जारी हैैै। विद्यालय से प्रशिक्षित छात्र छात्राएं आज एक अच्छे मुकाम पर है। जिनमें से कई बच्चे सरकारी नौकरी कर रहै हैं कुछ बच्चे अपना व्यवसाय कर रहें है व अपना पेट पाल रहे है। इन्हीं बच्चो में अमिताशा सिन्हा जो कि बोच्ची खेल की राष्ट्रीय खिलाड़ी है प्रथा अन्य रचनात्मक कार्यो में काफी रूचि लेती है को राज्य स्तरीय पुरस्कार तथा बेटी बचाओ बेटी पढाओ में उ०प्र० के राज्यपाल जी द्वारा सम्मानित किया जा चुका है सन् 2019 में उसे जिले का मतदाता आइकन भी बनाया गया। इसी क्रम में अमिष कुमार सिन्हा को भी राज्य स्तरीय पुरस्कार प्राप्त हुआ है। स्वाती श्रीवास्तव भी अब प्रशिक्षित होकर मानसिक मंदित बच्चो के साथ कार्य कर रही है। मेरा सपना है कि विद्यालय मण्डल स्तर पर एक ऐसा मुकाम हासिल कर लें जिससे यदि कहीं भी कोई दिव्यांग हो तो उसे हर तरह की सुविधा निःशुल्क प्रदान कराई जा सके ।

Baba Sunder Singh Education Committee was born with the blessings and support of my father Sardar Ajit Singh and mother Mahendra Kaur. The foundation of the institution was laid by Sardar Ajit Singh in 1992, and administered by his daughter Dr. Balmeet Kaur to provide education to the deaf and mentally challenged children with the aim to bring them to the mainstream of society. In 1992, Dr. Balmeet Kaur pledged to serve special children by remaining unmarried, which continues unabated today. Students trained in this school are in a good position today, many of whom are in government jobs, some are doing their business and are earning bread and butter for themselves and their family. Among these children, Amitasha Sinha, who is a national player of Bocce game and takes interest in other creative works, has been honoured with State Level Award by the Hon. Governor of Uttar Pradesh under the mission Beti Bachao Beti Padhao. She was made the Voter Icon of the district in 2019. In this series, Amish Kumar Sinha has also received state level award. Swati Srivastava is also trained and working with mentally challenged children. My dream is that the school should achieve such a position at the divisional level that if there is a Divyang anywhere, it can be provided all kinds of facilities free of cost.
